Robert Hay, Jr. is a Ministry Relations Officer from the
Presbyterian Foundation based in Atlanta, GA covering the area of Mississippi,
Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Hay received his undergraduate degree in
Business Administration from Auburn University and his Masters of Public
Administration with a Nonprofit Management concentration from Georgia State
University.
Hay began his career as a business analyst and consultant
with a large consulting firm primarily working with telecom companies such as
BellSouth, AT&T, Sprint, and Nextel.
Hay felt a calling to the nonprofit sector in 2006 and served as the CFO
of two nonprofits before joining the Presbyterian Foundation in 2012. Hay currently serves on the board of two
Atlanta nonprofits.
Hay is an ordained Ruling Elder and has served the PCUSA in
a variety of ways. Hay served on the Mid
Council Commission of the 219th General Assembly and currently
serves as a trustee for the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta and serves as the
Treasurer of the Emory Presbyterian Campus Ministry board. Hay has served in a variety of roles at
Montreat Conference Center, Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, Presbytery of
Sheppards and Lapsley, and in several congregations.
Hay is married to Rev. Morgan Hay who serves St. Andrews
Presbyterian Church in Tucker, GA. Hay
attends St. Andrews along with their 2 children, son Stockton and daughter
Anderson. Hay enjoys spending time with
his family, playing golf, and watching college football (War Eagle!).
